使命和目標

北京大學-香港理工大學中國社會工作研究中心，英文名稱：Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University China Social Work Research Centre，由北京大學與香港理工大學共同籌建，致力探討中國社會工作理論與實踐研究的道路，豐富、發展和完善本土中國社會工作專業的理論與實踐知識體系，提高社會工作專業解決社會問題和參與社會發展的能力。同時，中心也希望通過學術研究與專題項目的開展，培養理論與專業水準兼備的社會工作及社會政策研究人才。

中心立足於中國本土社會，運用多學科交叉的研究方法，探討中國經濟和社會發展以及社會政策與社會工作專業化過程中的重要理論及實踐問題，注重學術研究與實踐應用的結合，推動社會工作研究服務於社會。中心與政府、高校等相關機構緊密合作，提供高水準的社會服務管理、社會工作教學及實務的培訓，積極推動中國社會工作的發展和進步。

中國社會工作期刊

是一本同儕評鑑的國際學術期刊，旨在鼓勵社會工作理論和實踐、社會工作教育、社會發展，以及具有國際和中國背景的社會政策問題。

IASSW-CSWE 中美社會工作教育合作項目

“合作專案”於2012年正式啟動，涉及七所美國社會工作高校和IASSW-CSWE 中美社會工作教育合作項目，“合作項目”於2012年正式啟動，涉及七所美國社會工作高校和對應的七家中國高校機構，每組高校可自由探索有效的合作方式。這些高校合作夥伴“從（專案）實際情況出發”，開展了一系列良好的社會工作實踐。合作項目歷時五年，包括教師、行政人員和學生的交換學習；輔導和諮詢；研究基礎設施建設；課程開發等。下載中美社會工作教育合作項目外部評估總報告。

IASSW 國際社會工作聯盟大中華及東南亞區域資源中心

國際社會工作教育聯盟（International Association of Schools of Social Work，簡稱IASSW）是全球社會工作教育及研究的學術團體，也是聯合國的學術諮詢機構。該聯盟旨在促進世界各地社會工作教育的發展，以提高社會工作教育的品質，鼓勵國際交流，並通過政策和宣傳活動，促進人權和社會發展。國際社會工作聯盟大中華及東南亞區域資源中心揭牌儀式於2016年3月11日在北京大學舉行，這一儀式標誌著北京大學-香港理工大學中國社會工作研究中心正式成為該區域資源中心，有利於進一步促進內地社會工作的發展同時也提供了一個很好的平臺。

凱瑟克基金會

凱瑟克基金會為中心社會工作教育、實務以及研究的發展提供持續的資助。未來三年內，凱瑟克基金將支持中心在社會工作教育、青少年與家庭社會工作、農村社會工作以及農民工社會工作等重要領域進行高水準的研究、培訓與實務發展，以促進中國社會工作教育、人才培養以及本土理論和實務的發展。

林護社會工作培訓及發展基金

林護基金會支援中國社會工作專業與人才發展，中心在“林護社會工作培訓與發展基金”的資助下，舉辦了多項社會工作培訓和專業發展活動，以回應因社會工作急促發展帶來的人才培養之需要。利豐中國社會政策研究基金，旨在促進和鞏固社會政策研究，並推動社會工作及社會政策專業人士和從業人員在中國大陸的發展。

經綸慈善基金

在經綸慈善基金的資助下，中心建立“利豐中國社會政策研究基金”，通過不同的研究專案推動社會政策的研究和制訂，促進中國的社會發展和社會進步。過去的幾年間，香港理工大學應用社會科學系及北京大學社會學系以利豐中國社會政策研究基金的名義進行了一系列的研究、課程培訓及出版專案。

擇善基金會與思源基金會

思源基金會、擇善基金會向北京大學-香港理工大學中國社會工作研究中心定向捐贈善款，作為科研儲備基金，支援社會工作學術研究、培訓與國際合作等，促進中國社會工作的國際影響。

暑期學院

在2006年至2010年，中心與美國聖路易士華盛頓大學喬治沃倫布朗社會工作學院及北京大學社會學系合作，舉辦一年一度的暑期學院，為中國大陸和海外的學者，提供交流的平臺，主力探討老齡問題、社會發展、精神健康和農村社會工作。
