Cases Study of Social Work Educational Action Research is published

Our Network partners with Xinjiang University and a local NGO to foster the development of cooperatives among rural villagers that practice solidarity economy under the endorsement of the local government from producing beautiful traditional handicrafts to promoting eco-tourism.

With the support of Victor and William Fung Foundation Limited, the Network completed the year-long "Integrated Food Security and Forest Fire Protection Project for Leadership Home Children in Chiang Mai, Thailand," project with Borderless Friendship Foundation.

The Network's co-creation project, "House of Dreams," which combined the ideas, materials, and labor of over 80 Zhoushan villagers, won the 3rd Human City Design Award grand prize. The unique building complex serves as a community centre in Zhoushan village, Dengfeng, China.

China and Global Development Network works with locals in Gacha Village, Inner Mongolia to develop a cooperative to recover and preserve their agricultural heritage of millet-farming – a traditional crop grown in the area for centuries.
