On 28 October 2025, CGDN was delighted to host an academic exchange between Narxoz University’s School of Arts & Social Sciences and the Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Prof. Eric CHUI (Chair Professor of Social Work and Criminology, and Head of APSS) and Prof. Ben KU (Director of CGDN) warmly received the guests from Narxoz University.

Prof. Aigul BEIMISHEVA (Dean) and Prof. Aigul MUSTAFINA were warmly welcomed with a campus tour and an overview of APSS’s work, history, and structure. In the afternoon, the Narxoz delegation visited CGDN to explore future collaboration in advancing social work education across Central Asia.
