On January 11, 2025, in Bangkok, Dr. Kan Yip, Assistant Director of China and Global Development Network, APSS, PolyU shared her insights on the professionalisation of social work in China during the session on "Exchange on Experiences on a Social Work Licensing System and Guidelines on the Issuance of Social Work Licenses Among ASEAN Member States," organised by Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Social Work Professionals Council of Thailand, and ASEAN Training on Social Work and Social Welfare Center.
