Description of the project :
China Social Work Project Fund enters phase III in 2021. It aims to support China-based projects in professional social work practice research with their basis on solid research methodology and strong rationales to integrate theory and practice, feasible service and practice content followed by appropriate evaluations. Projects are conducted on service sites or practice outlets in Mainland China, serving deprived and vulnerable groups or communities to benefit their growth and development. These include:
- Empowerment Through Cultivating A “Filial Piety Culture” — Rural Community Development in the Qinba Mountainous Area (Community Development);
- Community Social Work Service (Community Development);
- Sustainable Cultural Development for Ethnic Dong Villages (Community Development);
- Hospice Care for Terminal Patients and Hospice Social Work Education (Hospice Service);
- Holistic Services for People with Mental Illnesses (Mental Health);
- Social Work Interventions for Children Affected by Families with Mental Illnesses in an Ethnic Region (Children & Youth);
- Medical Social Work for Children with Cancer and Their Caregivers at a Hospital Setting (Children & Youth);
- Building a System of Care for “De facto Orphans” (Children & Youth).
