A study on the social service projects under the COVID-19 in PRC

Description of the project : 

In 2020, a Covid-19 Related Short-Term Fund was launched with the objective of granting support to partners in China. The fund aimed to provide timely assistance to individuals and communities, helping them cope with emerging needs and mitigate emotional stress resulting from the impact of the pandemic.

Ten projects have been granted in the end. The nature and target of these projects varied from capacity building for social workers at a national-wide level to direct services provided to the local communities in Wuhan or other affected cities.            

This project aims to examine the insights from the social workers and to explore the innovative service models during this unique occasion. These experiences and findings are to share with the related social service organizations in China and international social work community so that we can fight against the pandemic together.
